Bringing my vision to life

Remember, publication date for The Curse of the Neverland will be  January 23, 2015. Mark your calendars!

In the meantime, I’ve been experiencing the joy of bringing my vision to life through an artist’s skill– just as the cover came to life with the help of Jan & Kay KepleyKelly Lenihan, and Alexi Rampp-Taft. Let’s hear it for artists!

Any of you on Facebook may have already seen the super-fun rendering of Piper Pan by Aisha Zaleha Latip. I’m including it below in case you haven’t. This will help you see her in your minds eye as I share bits of the story to come. Aisha is also working on Belle (you will laugh!), and Captain Li’l Jack. More fun ahead.

I will be doing a reading from my book as a part of the Brouhaha Virtual On-line Festival. All interviews and performances will be open to the public — you can also get an all-access pass and attend all of the workshops. Be sure to visit denisedee.com to learn more.

My reading will be Wednesday, October 29th at 6pm — you’ll be able to phone in to listen. I’ll keep you posted!

That’s it for now… enjoy!
